I ran this on a pretty standard BQ box:

# updatedb
# locate ffmpeg

So, I would say that it is not included or installed by default.  It 
doesn't appear to available via `yum` either.

You'll have to download and compile them manually.  Make sure you 
have the right compilers installed first:

# yum install gcc.i386
# yum install gcc-c++.i386
