Hi Blues,

I notice that when advanced changes are made to MJ lists on my box 
sendmail is not restarted and MJ bombs out with:

Adding subscribers does not cause the error. Just advanced changes.

As a side note, my system runs Solarspeed's AV-SPAM suite which mat 
also be a factor.
