APIC = Advanced Programable Interrupt Controller

To troubleshoot the issue we'd need to know more about your hardware and the 
type of kernel you're running.

What kind of CPU and motherboard are you using?

Also please post the output of the following commands:

uname -a
cat /proc/cpuinfo
cat /proc/interrupts
