That package group indeed doesn't exist on the CD - as it is not needed. Did
you somehow get shown a package selection menu during the install? If so,
that's the problem.

You usually only see the boot menu where you can choose "LILO" or "Grub", then
in the next step you can pick if you want IDE or SATA/SCSI and if you want
single drive, LVM or RAID install.

Once those choices are made the CD runs through without any further requested
interaction - until it prompts you to press enter to reboot. Which happens at
the end of a sucessful install.

If you get any other prompts )like choosing your language, keyboard settings,
package selection, etc.) then this means that something went wrong on your
end.

The common pitfalls are usually that either the CD-ROM was not detected
correctly once Anaconda kicks in. Certain PCs have this kind of issues, like
the Tyan GS10 or GS12, where you have to pull the USB cable of an USB CD-ROM
for 4-5 seconds once "/sbin/loader" appears on the screen.

Another pitfall is sometimes that the HDs were not found at the expected
device locations (/dev/sda & /dev/sdb for SATA or SCSI Raid for example). But
in that case Anaconda would fail with a different error message.

What kind of CD-ROM were you using? Build in or external? And in both cases:
How is it connected (USB, SCSI, IDE)? Also, when you boot the CD
into "rescue" modus, does that load up correctly?
