3 days of almost sleepless nights later, I think we are there.
As promised a pkg file can now be downloaded. It includes all required files
and runs from within the GUI. (Size approx 1.9MB) I've not added any of the
extra plugins, but you will be able to have the fun to configure them
yourselves. If you put together and scripts for running your own plugins or
modify the std ones, please let me know and I can place them on the Dincom
site for all to share.
The only odd thing I've currently found is that on the initial install, root
will be send a cron report by email. (Subject: test -x /usr/bin/munin-cron
&& /usr/bin/munin-cron) I assume it's testing the system and reporting there
is no data collected. Once the process of logging is under way, this doesn't
get sent again.
As always, I've tested as much as I can, report any bugs and test on a
non-production machine.
Best Regards,
Howie.

I've also been tinkering with this last night. I just have to do a few more
checks and test installs, which I should complete tonight. Once this is
complete, I'll be able to release a pkg file that also brings the munin
reports inside the BlueQuartz GUI in place of the www.donain.tld/munin/ dir.
Best Regards,
Howie.
