if you could describe the routing it takes from the desktop to the server,
ALL nodes AND networking apps included (starting with defense perimeter on
the desktop, i.e. Antivirus, Firewall, Anti- ... anything),
people here could try to think together with you. :)

also, traceroute from the desktop to the server could sometimes help...

I contacted the co-location company and they stated that no ports are
blocked and that there is no firewall, plus the "NTLM" authentication is not
blocked (Window NT Lan Management System the FP uses for authentication,
which is what I thought it was).

I will contact them again and speak with someone different.

Thanks!

Subject: [coba-e:09367] Cannot Publish Using FrontPage to

I have just co-located two identical servers:

2 x Tyan GS14 Pentium P4 3.0 GHz 1GB 2x500GB w/NuOnce Load

Both are running BlueQuartz software and have FrontPage 2002 server
extensions installed in the correct directory.

I am unable to publish using FrontPage (FTP is okay). I keep getting the
same error message:

FrontPage server extensions may not be installed on this server.

I have verified that the Vermeer Technologies Industries folders (_vti), the
extensions are indeed on the server and have the correct ownership and
permissions. I event disable and re-enabled the FrontPage web, plus manually
removed the extensions then had the GUI recreate the extensions.

Still cannot publish using FrontPage.

I have tried using SSL and still no luck.

Can anyone please help?

Is anyone else event using FrontPage? I only have four people using
FrontPage and only one site that I do publishes thru that program, but I
need to get this working.

These sites publish AOK on CobaltRaq 4r servers using the FrontPage 2000
extensions.

I just cannot publish these sites on the BlueQuartz servers using FrontPage
2002 extensions.

Someone please advise.

Thanks!
