Hi there Brian,
Before you get shouted down as this is a BlueQuartz list and not a OSOffice
list.
I think that you should be posting your question in the OS Office Forum at
http://www.osoffice.co.uk/forum/

The PC is just running as a slave network drive, it doesn't know what you
are running from it.
I would also certainly suggest that you get the console running, so you can
see what it's telling you what is wrong.
Finally you may well find that the boot device is not set to run from disk
or something.

Best Regards,
Howie

OK, I'm following the info from the recent blog posting,
http://www.prairienet.org/~jtuttle/blog/item/123/

I have a older PC with a ethernet card that lets me netboot the Qube 2, and
it seems to work fine with the Qube 3 for netbooting, too.

I had to upgrade the ROM to cobalt-2.10.3-ext3-1M.rom to get the Strongbolt
netboot to work. This ROM also booted the original OS fine.

The Strongbolt installer starts, prompts for install, checks the ROM and
doesn't ask to upgrade. It sets up partitions, finds the 2 disks
and sets up RAID0, formats, at this point I don't watch too closely.
All seems to go OK, it reboots, and-- kernel panic.

This is repeatable.

I don't have my console cable with me to get a console capture of the
install (why don't install messages display or get mirrored on the PC
during install? If I can do that, I'm missing it).

I feel badly posting without a console capture but it will be a bit before I
can do it, and maybe this is something someone has seen already.

Thanks!

Brian
