Hi there. I have a bq (nuonce installer), and for some reason "some"
of my users can not login via ftp. They can however still log into the
web interface for their account. When trying to connect, their ftp
client issues them an error like:

Looking up xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Trying xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:21
Connected to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:21
220 ProFTPD 1.2.10 Server (ProFTPD) [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
USER my-user-id

331 Password required for my-user-id.
PASS xxxx
530 Login incorrect.
Disconnecting from site xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Now I have reset the id password multiple times, I have reset
permissions on the site files (not that I really think that was the
issue), I have deleted the user, and recreated it, yet no availe.

Also, I was looking for the proftp logs (in case there was a clue
there), however when i go to my /var/log/proftpd directory, it is
empty. Are they kept in a different location?
