Thank you all for your suggestions.

Unfortunately I can't add a CD-ROM to it quickly (even USB), ok, I could
but I'm actually doing this for disaster recovery so that if I need to
in a couple of years time I can login remotely and do an entire
reinstall without having to physically go to the server.

There is also no chance of using PXE, kickstart or a version of the
original Cobalt restore CD's as again I'm not near the server so can't
setup other machines on the same network :-/

So far I have done this...
- Net boot the system from a server that is provided for troubleshooting
- fdisk, wipe all partitions and create one 800MB disk
- mkfs ext3 the partition
- mount the partition
- wget the Nuonce iso image onto it
- mount the iso image as loopback
- copy the loopback image files to the partition

Now the original CD used ISOLINUX [1] as the bootloader so I *THINK* if
I can translate the isolinux.cfg into a lilo.conf and write the MBR then
I can just reboot and am sorted!!!!???? :-/

Any hints would be welcome :-)

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?? :-S

Thank you again

Dan
