for hard drives on SATA system
    cat /proc/scsi/scsi
for other info look in /proc, for instance
    cat /proc/cpuinfo
    cat /proc/meminfo

Or sometimes dmesg has info
maybe;
    dmesg | grep sda

And look through /proc all recorded system info should be there

Subject: [coba-e:08969] configuration utilities

I would like to know what command line utilities I can use to find out
detailed information about the system. I need to find out things like
the bus speed, memory speed, hard drive parameters, etc.
