How are you calling spamc?
If is in procmailrc make sure you have "DROPPRIVS=yes". It should be similar
to like this:
DROPPRIVS=yes
:0fw
* < 102400
| spamc
Also, under /etc/mail/spamassassin, try commenting the lock_method and
restart spamassassin. Even better, try it in debug mode like this to see the
errors:
spamassassin --lint -D

Afte the last yum-update of spamassassin i get these error's in the maillog
locker: safe_lock: cannot create tmp lockfile /etc/mail/spamassassin/
auto-whitelist.lock.server.xx.xx.3197 for /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto-
whitelist.lock: Permission denied
How can i correct this error?
