Hi,

Thanks for the info...trying to configure rsync and getting an error that I
don't have gcc installed...can I just do a 
yum install gcc.i386
to install?

Well if your interested I blogged my backup solution the other week :-)

I run CMU as part of the pre-backup script for each server so I have that
data if needed but find there are much better ways to transfer the data :-)
