Hi,

I had to use /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail stop and start instead of service
sendmail stop...but all is okay with that.(the reboot also helped)..I check
the maillog and found this

Dec 30 16:16:26 ns8 spamd[2775]: prefork: syswrite(6) failed, retrying... at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Mail/SpamAssassin/SpamdForkScaling.pm line
554.
Any way to fix this?

As for mailscanner..I have not made any changes since it was installed via a
pkg.

Regards,
Mitch

Btw, how do you run Mailscanner, if at all?
