Believe me, I don't touch anything without backing up first, that is how
I got back to a working sendmail.cf quickly after it failed to work. I
was trying to do all this since you said it was better to hack
sendmail.mc instead of the .cf file and then I notice the BIG CAPS in
the .cf file suggesting the same thing. I found the popauth.m4 file, but
it is at /usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4. Do you know how
this would be referenced in the sendmail.mc? I assume this is the file
that the GUI failed to include in the sendmail.cf when I tried enabling
POP auth. Also, I manually entered the following line in sendmail.cf and
that seems to have fixed my forwarding issue...
O DontBlameSendmail=forwardfileingroupwritabledirpath
Do you think there is no need then to mess with the sendmail.mc? Like
you said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
