Both Tyan and MSI have their own PSU's for the different server chassis. Sure, 
they provide standard voltage, so you could fit any PSU as a replacement if 
yours goes bad. Except that you might have troubles mechanically fitting a 
not original PSU replacement into the actual chassis. Different fan 
placement, different screw holes, etc. On top of that a non-standard PSU 
might alter the air flow inside the chassis, which could lead to undesireable 
results with high end CPUs.

What I meant in my message was that I have had lots of troubles getting an 
original Tyan PSU replacement from my vendors. The quoted price was about 60% 
of what a new chassis would cost and the delivery time estimate was six 
weeks. 

With MSI instead I've had no troubles getting parts - any parts for that 
matter - not just PSU's.
