[root (at mark) cbq ~]# find /usr/ -name popauth.m4
/usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4
/usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4

[root (at mark) cbq ~]# ls -la /usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 410 Oct 17
18:46 /usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4

[root (at mark) cbq ~]# ls -la /usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 410 Aug 20
09:51 /usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4

[root@cbq ~]# rpm -qa |grep sendma
sendmail-8.13.1-3.RHEL4.5
sendmail-doc-8.13.1-3.RHEL4.5
sendmail-cf-8.13.1-3.RHEL4.5

[root (at mark) cbq ~]# rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4
file /usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4 is not owned by any package

[root (at mark) cbq ~]# rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4
base-bluequartz-glue-5100R-1.20061012BQ75.centos4

Offhand I don't know where /usr/share/sendmail-cf/hack/popauth.m4 comes from,
but as the one in /usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/popauth.m4 is downright
identical to the last bit ("diff" found no differences) you can as well use
that one instead.
