I know it's dirty, but did you try installing the pkg with the --nodeps
flag? Sometimes the rpm packers put in a dependency, when the software
will run just fine on an older version og the program in question. I
woild try forcing the installation with the --nodeps option, and then
doing a dry-run migration to test it out. If every things seems fine,
then go ahead.
