You usually input that information with the registrar control panel i.e. not
the server control panel.
The registrar points to the name servers and they then point the relevant
services like web and email etc to the IP.
If you are using your name server do not forget it must also be registered
as a name server.

This isn't exactly on topic, so I apologise in advance for this.
We have a domain, currently with hosting through a hosting company,
but we want to host it on BQ. We set up the DNS on BQ with all
the correct entries for the domains and subdomains etc in GUI but
my question is this.
The server IP is setup as ns1.mydomain.com - but in the domain CP
on the original host, how do I point the domain to use the NS on
my server? Currently ns1.mydomain.com points to the old host,
but I can't seem to find where to change the IP addresses to make
it point to my server.
Can anyone help? Does that make any sense at all?
Thanks!
R.
