Guys

I've seen this before and its frustrated me, I now have it again on a
specific user.

This is a BQ box Centos 4.3 - fairly recently updated but not running latest
versions

The problem

The GUI reports the user quota as full i.e. 20Mb

if I do this

Disk quotas for user sfriend (uid 905):
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit
grace
       /dev/md4 21012* 20480 21504 none 24 0 0

I get a similar report - quota full

If however I do find -user sfriend

I should find all the files owned by that user which are mainly in the users
directory with a couple of webmail session ids as below

If I check the user directory with du -sh I get a useage of 184k - somewhat
different from the quota response

/var/www/cgi-bin/openwebmail/etc/sessions/sfriend*mail.londprov.co.uk-sessio
n-0.221928642670722
./var/www/cgi-bin/openwebmail/etc/sessions/sfriend*mail.londprov.co.uk-sessi

I checked the ./var/spool/mail/.sfriend.pop and its only 146k

So we are a long way of filling 20Mb

We used to see this on the Raq4 then we would do /sbin/quotacheck -avug and
this would fix it but if I try this on a BQ box it complains - I did once do
a force and that broke all my quota's in the GUI so I then spent a long time
going through editing each user and site which I don't want to do again.

It looks as though the OS gets its quota in a mess how do I get it to rescan
the disc and update what each user is using?

Thanks

Regards

Gavin
