Similar issue here - but gui gives the below message only first time you click to 
create, leaving all details the same and clicking again creates the site. I'll be 
posting a fresh one on the weird email issue I have on this box anyways - again this is 
a box running 4.2 (approx) iso upgraded via yum (including dovecot).

"The site could not be created, because the system was unable to create the site system 
group."
