Today I updated a machine with YUM and some new features appeared that
support various secure email methods. All seem to be working but SMTPS

In doing some research I found that it looks like my sendmail.mc file is
missing the various definitions. I guess I would have expected those to have
been updated?

Anyways a locate on my system for sendmail.mc returns this

/usr/sausalito/configs/sendmail/sendmail.mc
/etc/mail/sendmail.mc

The one in sausalitio directory seems to have these newer definitions. The
one in /etc/mail does not. What is the one stored in the sausalito directory
all about? Is this were changes are now made? Should I move this version
from that directory to /etc/mail ?

After I figured this out I upgraded a second box and same issue. Perhaps
something is missing during the upgrade process?
