Hi All,
for the archives: I´ve found the problem. The directory /usr was group-
writeable. So I had to do an "chmod g-w /usr". Now the SMTP authentification
is working.

Betreff: [coba-e:07195] SMTP auth not working
Hi All!
We´ve just upgraded our Bluequatz boxes with yum and activated the SMTP
authentification on all of those servers. On all expect one server the new
authentification is working fine.
When I try to send a mail with Outlook I get the error: Relaying denied.
Proper authentification required. When I telnet into the box on port 25 and
type in "auth login" I get the error "503 5.3.3 AUTH not available".
In the messages-log file there are at every login a lot of error messages:
Sep 22 14:59:37 ns2-bq sendmail[19680]: STARTTLS: ClientCertFile missing
Sep 22 14:59:37 ns2-bq sendmail[19680]: STARTTLS: ClientKeyFile missing
Sep 22 14:59:37 ns2-bq sendmail[19680]: STARTTLS: CRLFile missing
Sep 22 14:59:37 ns2-bq sendmail[19680]: STARTTLS=client:
file /usr/share/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt unsafe: Group writable directory
Sep 22 14:59:37 ns2-bq sendmail[19680]: STARTTLS=client, init=1
The other authentifications (POP3, SSH, FTP, Webstats etc.) are working
correctly.
I have no idea what causes this problem on the on box (BTW: was installed
with Nuonce 4.5).
Thanks for your help
Juergen
