I am having the same firewall problem on two machines after the update.

Also the time zones on both machines went to EDT for some reason.

And the two machines are hanging every couple of days with kjournald 
errors on the console screens.

Both machines have been reliable for a year prior to that major yum update 
a few weeks ago which introduced that firewall reactivate afer reboot problem.
