Hi there - BQ - latest patches....

Now for some reason i have a mailbox that is having mail delivered (I
confirm by running "cat" on the mbox file). But when the account is
configured in a mail client, the mail client says there are no new
messages - even though there are. So my suspicion is that the mail is
being delivered to a mbox, however the pop/imap server is checking
another location.

Has anyone run into this?

Ideas?

When I look at the log file, there are no errors, and i can see the
pop/imap logins with no errors.

In the dovecot.conf I checked:

default_mail_env = mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=mbox

And the actual mailbox is located at something like:

/home/.sites/106/site15/users/emma/mbox <-- mbox is the mbox file itself.

Does this look right?

Am I missing something?

To me it looks like dovecot is looking in such a way that the mbox
should be at:

/home/.sites/106/site15/users/emma/mail/mbox

Is this correct?

I am hesitant to change this for fear of breaking other users. Was this
something that needed to be changed after the recent updates and such?

I noticed that if someone uses IMAP, there is a mail folder created (but
IMAP related)

IE:

/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/inbox
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/.imap
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/.imap/INBOX
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index.cache
/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mail/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index.log

But this users mbox is still located at:

/home/.sites/106/site15/.users/78/robert/mbox <-- mbox is the mbox file
itself.

Thanks!
