Majordomo on the BQ isn't as configurable as it should be in the GUI. I
always have to edit the config file by hand to tweak the settings and then
chmod the permissions to 440 so the GUI won't overwrite the changes I made.
For security reasons, the config files should allow you to set "who_access"
flag to closed so you can lock the list so subscribers can't get the entire
subscriber list in email. Currently it leaves that unset.
You should be able to set the list where messages are only allowed to be
posted from one individual email address, whether that be the moderator or
not. Currently the settings allow you to set posts as from the subscribers
or anybody, subscribed or not.
It should allow you to create a listname.info file in the GUI. Instead, you
have to create this file in a shell, meaning if your clients want to do it,
you are probably going to have to do it for then.
So I edit my config to limit posts to one individual so specified in
listname.administrator file and to set who_access=closed.
