I have been doing some dev work, and I have a few questions. I am
playing around with the old "slush-barn" app to help get me started on
some Cobalt development.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find this app in its un packaged form
anywhere on the net, but I was able to find a compiled PKG file for it.
I have hacked around and reverse engineered the pkg file to come up with
a what I think the raw source archive for this old template application
would have looked like. (If you want to look, it is at pkg.gknsonline.com).
When building it as a set of RPM files, it works just fine.... but when
I do "make pkg" .... it does an auto generate of the packing list for
the package. The problem is, that the RPM listing in packing_list is not
correct. Eg: The capstone files need to be installed last, since they
are dependant on other rpm files.... but the auto generated PKG file
does not have this file listed last.
Anyone able to help solve the mystery? There has to be a way to specify
the order of RPM files in the packing_list!
Regards,
Greg.
