Yesterday,
one of my boxes told me: I do not like it anymore and it had to rebooted

just a simple reboot: no LILO and no start
used a CD-ROM, linux rescue and chroot /mnt/sysimage
as I run on RAID I have always a big ?? above my head to solve this
I typed LILO and saw 2 kernels added to LILO .. uhmff..

I restarted the machine and WOW it worked .. but after a 2nd reboot: NO GO
same issue again.


Suddenly all strange things happened after rebooting: do reverse dns, no 
e-mail ftp issues etc.

Finally this morning I saw that the option FIREWALL was enabled in BQ .. .
very wierd as I only rebooted the machine and prior to the reboot not 
entered the box as it was running fine.

Disabled and suddenly all kinds of processes started again ..

1. How can I check / run LILO and write it as correct back to MBR ?
(with RAID)
2. How can suddenly FIREWALL be enabled

(I'm the one and only admin) ...
