I had a similar problem yesterday. The yum updates were hung and I had 2 zombie prepossess, while it was in the waiting/zombie mode I couldn$BCU(B add vsites, or save changes in the GUI. After a few attempts to restart admserv and kill the zombie prepossess I finally tried a reboot.
This didn$BCU(B go well ether; the box would not boot using the $BEM(Bast known good” (whatever its called) top boot profile.
