I'm not quite sure what the problems are!?  sounds to me like the mail queue is 
working fine.  Yeah they will always be full of spam or mailer daemons with all 
the junk our servers receive now-a-days but as sendmail fails to delivery it 
(after 4 days) it will be dumped.  Clearing out mail queues is a thankless task 
nowadays, ignore it unless it's actually causing problems.
