Ok, just did a YUM update on a production box this morning, not fun...
1. Lost all "rbl" entries which was partially expected, re-entered those
2. Stopped relaying for all "local" machines on this particular network,
appears that the access file and associated db were re-written
3. Started delivering all mail to $HOME/mbox vice $HOME/mail/inbox so even
though mail was coming in and being "delivered" to the user, they were not
seeing it through dovecot. Edited the /etc/procmailrc file and changed the
parameter for ORGMAIL to be $HOME/mail/inbox and that part started working.
4. Poprelayd was apparently also updated to reflect dovecot (thanks), but was
not "restarted" as part of the update. Stopped and restarted it and it
started working.
5. Still see that the SMTP_LOGIN message has not been changed and the default
is for the box to answer as its primary interface vice as the correct name of
the "domain" interface it is answering on. Entries are:
>DEFAULT< define(`confSMTP_LOGIN_MSG',$j Sendmail; $b)dnl
>MINE< define(`confSMTP_LOGIN_MSG',$?{if_name}${if_name}$|$j$. Sendmail
Ready; $b)dnl
Am going to "watch" this server today and see what else happens...
