How easy is it to change a backup DNS record to a primary on BQ/CentOS?

Situation ... we have a server that acts as backup DNS server for a
server that has died.
I want to change the backup DNS server to primary for the domain.
There are a lot of entries and I want to save having to type them all in
again ;)
