2 days ago we had a power down. I was in Barcelona (lucky me) eating
tapas and my network system told himself to reboot and start the new Kernel
all seems to work fine, but there was totally no network connectivity
anymore.
after checking Ifconfig told me that all was okay, but I could not ping.
changing cables, switch .. nothing, restart network; no solution

Than I decided to go back to my oldest available Kernel from which I
knew; that should work fine.

And yes now suddenly my network is up and running again.

Is there any info how to check what is actually wrong ???
And how to solve it (with ie. use of latest kernel (yum updates)

thanks
Dennis
