I am trying to set up an internal BQ server to integrate into our
Windows environment and have installed Samba using 'yum install samba'
and that all looks good.

[root@bqtest ~]# service smb start
Starting SMB services: [ OK ]
Starting NMB services: [ OK ]
[root@bqtest ~]#

Before manually editing the smb.conf and setting up users using
smbpasswd ... is there an easier way of doing this with BQ?

1. Swat doesn't seem to be installed which is a bit of a pain - is it
possible to install it seperately (can't find anything on the Samba
site)
2. I would rather not have to set samba users up seperately to BQ (it
would be nice to add users through the BQ GUI and for them to have Samba
access)

Has anybody been down this road? I am a Samba newbie!

Thanks

Colin
