Hi,

When you installed from the CD it will display a text file on the screen 
with all this information in.  If you need to see that file again then 
take a look at /root/README.1ST

In case you have deleted the file...

MySQL is now started by default.  There is NO password set, and it is 
highly recommended that you change the password right away!

   /usr/bin/mysqladmin --user=root password YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE
