I may have found the problem with my alias not working on the BQ.
I used 4 different servers with different variants of loading BQ from Brians' 4.2, 4.3,
and 4.5 CD's, updating from yum or not, loading packages (SpamAssassin, ClamAV,
MailScanner, OWM) or not.
Alias are fine through each successive step. Fine means sendmail does not reject 550
email sent to those aliases.
Only after restoring cmuExported domains that originally began their life on a 550 does
the alias break and majordomo begin to complain. From this point on, no aliases from
existing domains or interface created domains with user accounts and alias work again on
that BQ system.
So, I am stuck? This has to be an issue with my 550's.
The next step is to try and restore/refresh the cmu 2.53 on the 550's and see if that
will make the export good.
Can some one tell me where to fetch cmu-2.53 for a 550 and how to remove the existing
package. And possibly anything else I need to do on the BQ system to make the cmu import
work.
