I am a great fan of Bluz Quartz as it stands. It has developed well as one of the
easiest to install systems.

However I also work with the Zimbra open source version.

Zimbra does not do the web hosting. Zimbra uses postfix.

I am not sure how difficult it would be to integrate Zimbra and Blue Quartz
Zimbra has an LDAP server. Does Blue Quartz use LDAP?

Any thoughs ?

Subject: [coba-e:06632] [RFC] bluequartz with postfix MTA

Hi blues,

We have BQ-dovecot replacement for pop3 and imap.

Now it is time for sendmail replacement / alternative.

      postfix? anyone?

I personally looked at glue code in BQ and
      compared with postfix architecture.

     Hmm... Havent probe deeper

But on the surface, it seems minor changes are needed to replace
      sendmail with postfix.

    Anyone has done it?
So that we wouldnt waste resource to "re-invent the wheel".

Cheers
patrick
