CentOs4.2 - BQ

I'm not be able to create  the e-mail address with an alias "news".

e.g: news@<somedomain>

BQ Admin GUI says:
Sorry, the email alias, news, is already in use on this system. Please
choose another. 
Email aliases were not created for this user. 

But I can't find an alias "news" at all.
