FYI to all...
I did two migrations this week, due to sick servers too...raq4's are getting
really old...glad we have BQ to migrate to.
I found the following issues:
1. email alias such as "abuse" can not import
2. had some issues with domain aliases, even though the domain aliases
imported into the GUI, the apache vsite config did not get updated. I
believe something to do with domain.com being an alias for the vsite.
Simply resaving the domain aliases for each site fixed it.
3. some siteadmins didn't get permissions as such when imported, even
though in the GUI, the user was checked as a siteadmin. Uncheck save,
recheck save, cleared the problem.
4. if a forward or vacation messages was created with openwebmail on raq4,
it was not saved when importing.
5. when importing, siteXX numbers are of course changed, but this breaks
any .htaccess file you might have setup for the site, and any CGI's that
might reference that path...so watch out for that.
6. webablizer stats have of coursed moved, but the stats are not migrated,
so they start over. It would be nice if the cmu could migrate the stats.
I think that was all ;)
Good Luck

We recently migrated from a sick server to a replacement using CMU and
all went fine except that we have one or two users that have
disappeared.
example:
On the old server we had a user john in vsite www.domain.tld
John is no longer there and when I try and re-instate him BQ says I
can't (presumably because it thinks he is already there)
I have created a user john_new in the same vsite as before with an email
alias of john and that works fine.
Anybody any ideas?
