Doh! Cant get this to install using method one OR method 2!!!

Using Method 1 I know the cable works as i can read the infos on boot 
from windows.
Using Method 2 I've tried using a x cable and through a hub with nothing 
else connected...

Any ideas?!?!?! (it's going onto a RAQ4i....)

It's never made it to the rom check.. :( just sits there...
