Hi All,

I am looking for a script that will monitor the common ports (80, 25, 110, 21) on our server and 
email, IM or text message me when one of the ports is not accessible or responding. I would 
install this on a machine in another data center and monitor our servers remotely.

Of course I'm aware of Active Monitor, but it doesn't help me in the cases where the server 
completely locks up or something upstream of the server goes down.

Is anyone using a script like this?
