Don't know whether this works on later versions of Brian's ISO but worth mentioning I 
suppose.

When I first setup BQ I did it all wrong (I too deleted the default site) but did 
discover one thing. I created another site, but was able to change the servers name (as 
in the servers main host / domain) to that used by a currently setup website.

So basically I bodged round it by:

a) Rename server to something else.
b) Create site called whatever I wanted the default site to be / also new server name.
c) Rename server back to that site name.

I've no clue as to whether this could fix ure problem Arthur, but simple enough to try.
