Sorry too late response, it is very difficult for me now to
make time to catch up this list.

So, yes, web page is not so up to date including FAQ description.
So sorry, confusing you.

Basically my point is the same of Dan.

There are some reasons but the biggest one is the human
resource problem. Qube3 and 550 uses different version
of Sausalito.  (550 is newer of course.)

So we decided we concentrate to one version because
it was impossible that "parallel development" of them.

Well, it is not impossible to port Qube3 software to current
distro itself. You can see at least two version of Qube3
based system alive in Japanese market.
ClassCute and TLAS(1) are.

Now I am trying to update the description of the website
as I can do....
