Rashid,<br>
<br>
I don=92t know if this will help you with your perl or not; I=92ve attached
three of the scripts I made for the RaQ, other options are pretty much
just spinoffs of these.<br>
<br>
addSite.pl Adds a
site.<br>
setPass.pl Sets a users
password.<br>
suspend.pl Suspends a user.
(Uses the Cobalt Configuration Engine, not sure if bq has the CCE or
not)<br>
<br>
Just look at the code to see what=92s going on. I took out the database
code that I also used, (just so it=92s a bit easier to read), but the
structure and basic process is there. You=92ll also have to look for where
the admin password goes for suspend.pl; to login to CCE, you have to have
sufficient enough credentials.<br>
<br>
Thanks to Zeffie for tips.<br>

clistvsite is the command.<br><br>
I am going to write myself a little Perl script to help myself. I
am not good at Perl so I it will take me a bit. Generally the flow
is going to go like this:<br><br>
$host =3D <actual host name><br>
$network =3D <network id><br>
clistvsite > $host_virtual_site_list<br><br>
open $host_virtual_site_list<br>
read file<br>
parse each line which is in format of
(fqdn<x-tab> </x-tab>siteX<x-tab>
</x-tab>ipaddr)<br>
run the command cmodvsite with the first three octets of the address
changed to match $network<br><br>
Finally, I need to still automate the DNS updates. So is there
anyone who knows what methods I can use from the command line to change
the DNS entries?<br><br>

Re: Change all IP Addresses<br>
<br>
I may have introduced some confusion. I am moving BQ systems <br>
(physically) from one location to another and therefore I need to do
<br>
a mass IP change. No need for any site imports.<br>
</font><font face=3D"Times New Roman, Times"> <br>
On my RaQ, I=92m running Jeff Bilicki=92s shell tools, in these, I am able t=
o
do something along the lines of <br>
<br>
Cmodvsite =96fqdn=3D=94mysite.com=94 =96ipaddr=3Dxxx.xxx.xx.xx <br>
<br>
It changes the ip address of the site to what I was using.<br>
<br>
Also, I=92m not sure if BQ is able to do it, but I run all my sites on the
same nat ip, 192.168.155.155 sort of thing and only need to change the
server IP when I get a new IP from my ISP. Of course, I run my dns
separate and have the raq as a secondary nameserver, so I only have to
update the zone files for the new sites, so I don=92t know if that helps at
all, but do let me know.<br>
