yes, first install the pkg
and the maka a backup of config files,
then install the latest and check if the config files are ok.

installing it over the WebMerch PKG, right?

Make sure you upgrade teh version of awstats after you installed the
pkg, this version is very easy to use for hackers and script kiddies.

Hi,
After you install it, wait for a day (night) and then you can see the
stats. At least this is how it worled on my RaQ550. You don't see
anything straight away. You install it once and you can see that results
at www.domain.tld/awstats/ for each site hosted.
