Hi,

Having problems with the Webmerch release of "awstats" they have on
their site, however unable to contact them as their e-mail form
doesn't work(it has one of those lovely "type in whats in the pic next
to me" boxes that doesnt display an image - just a red "x"), and
there are no other addresses for them on site. Nice going guys!!!

However seeing as the problem seems generic, will request one of you
experts have a quick look if you would be so kind...

The .pkg seems to have installed correctly, but i cannot access the
page. It comes up with the usual username/password box,
however whatever info i put in there (i.e. admin/password, root/password
and even user/password does not seem to work at all.

Any clues as to what the .htaccess file should be on this to make it
work properly?
if i comment out all the files, no problems, however of course then
everyone can get access :(

Currently my .htaccess file that is created by the installer / in the
awstats dir is default, and is :

#Access file
AuthType Basic
AuthName AwStats
AuthExternal pwauth
require valid-user
AuthAuthoritative on

Thanks

Paul
