Using the Merlot style as a reference for the files that need to be changed.
It would mean that the /usr/sausalito/ui/web/libImage/newstyle dir would
only require 97 unique images, which on the Merlot style, is just 67k and
34k for the 2x xml files.

I must also agree with you, not all the 97 Merlot files are used in the BQ.

That is a good idea.
There are almost 300 images in libImage directory and almost files are in
sausalito-gallery package, the other files are in base-alpine package.
But, I don't know which images are used or not. And, some name has still
Cobalt, but image is already changed for BlueQuartz.
So, I think that is good idea to separate based images.
