Actually, you don't need to restart sendmail to have it find new info
in a .db file. Changes to a plain-text config file like sendmail.cf
that only gets parsed at startup are really the only reason you need
to bounce it.
That being said, an occasional manual restart to keep it off guard
never really hurts! :)
