You can also edit sendmail.cf, turn your LogLevel up to get more
detail on what's happening, then restart sendmail to re-read
sendmail.cf

Remember to change the LogLevel back when you're done so you don't
fill up the logs too fast.

I think it defaults to level 9; set it to something big like 20 to see
all the details about each transaction.
