Hi blues,

Many of my customers are Mac user and use Mail.app to read there mail.
I have meet some authentication error when they use pop (and not imap).
After have made some search in Google, I supposed that it was in.qpopper 
fault.
So I've disable POP thrue webUI and install dovecot.
My problems were solved :)

So I made a RPM with latest dovecot relaese.

FYI : Centos have dovecot to, I think you can use it instead of this RPM 
but be sure to update /etc/pam.d/dovecot.
Using this dovecot (release 0.99) I had problem (user can't 
authenticate, and the number of pop3-login and dovecot-auth process 
increase very much)

FYI2:
Verify dovecot start on boot using : chkconfig --list
