Hi all,
I have a Strongbolt based Raq, that has just started to have an almost daily
crash at just after 4am.
I'm assuming it's during the logrotate process.
My initial thought was that the daily backup was overlapping with the
logrotate process, but looking at my backup server the files have finished
ftping almost an hour before.
The Cron <root (at mark) ns1> run-parts /etc/cron.daily is giving many truncating
errors but if I remember these are just the lines are too long for saving in
the log files.
Cron <root (at mark) ns1> run-parts /etc/cron.daily
/etc/cron.daily/00webalizer:
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [1378]
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [1379]
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [1380]
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
Warning: Truncating oversized request field
Skipping bad record (666065)
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field
Warning: Truncating oversized request field
My final thoughts where along the lines of awstats or if I cleared all the
log files from the sites.
Is there any suggestions of what to look at?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Best Regards,
Howie.
